Women's Hoops Again Ranked in D3Hoops and WBCA Polls

SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College women's basketball team went 1-1 over the weekend and now sit at 12-1 overall and 5-1 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play, and find themselves ranked No. 20 by D3Hoops.com and No. 21 by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association in this week's national Top 25 polls.

The 'Roos topped Schreiner 71-48 on Friday to improve to 12-0 before suffering their first setback of the year, an 86-65 loss on Saturday to Trinity, which came in at No. 19 in the D3Hoops.com poll and No. 16 in the WBCA Top 25 this week. The 'Roos are currently second in the SCAC standings, and will head out on the road for the first time in 2020 this weekend as they travel to Georgetown on Friday to take on Southwestern University before facing off against defending SCAC Tournament champion Texas Lutheran on Saturday in Seguin.

Last week, the 'Roos were ranked No. 18 by D3Hoops and No. 22 by the WBCA.
