LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Kam Hogan, a senior on the Austin College men's basketball team, has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office has announced.

Hogan, a guard from Memphis, Tenn., led the conference in scoring in its opening weekend, averaging 22.0 points-per-game as Austin College was the only program to go 2-0 in its first two games. Hogan shot 50% from the field, and also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists-per-game as the 'Roos swept the University of Dallas in a pair of games on Friday and Saturday.

Hogan also shot 73.3% from the free throw line and averaged 1.5 steals over the two-game series against the Crusaders.
