SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College football player Broderick Hampton has been named to the D3Football.com National Team of the Week, the organization has announced.

Hampton, a senior wide receiver from Princeton, had a big game for the 'Roos in a loss at Hendrix last Saturday, hauling in five receptions for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Hampton got the game started with an 86-yard touchdown catch and later added a three-yard score for the 'Roos. Through the team's first two games, Hampton leads the Southern Athletic Association in every receiving category, with 10 catches for 195 yards with three touchdowns. His 97.5 yards-per-game are 24 more than the next closest player in the SAA.
