ATLANTA, Ga. – Austin College football player Colt Collins has been named the Southern Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week, the league office has announced.

Collins, a sophomore quarterback from Princeton, led the 'Roos to a 33-19 victory over Millsaps College on Homecoming. It was the first ever SAA win for Austin College, which is in its first season in the conference. Collins completed 14-of-23 passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns, and also led the 'Roos with 38 rushing yards and added another score on the ground.

Collins, who has thrown for more than 900 yards this season and also leads the team in rushing yardage, completed three passes of at least 45 yards in the victory. His touchdown passes covered 48, 45, and 29 yards.
