Tullis, Lane, Davis Earn CSC Academic All-District Soccer Recognition

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College men's soccer player Connor Tullis and women's soccer players Kenedie Lane and Sarah Davis have been selected as Academic All-District picks for their outstanding performances both on the field and in the classroom.

The 2022 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Tullis, a senior goalkeeper from Dallas, was named first team All-District after finishing the season with a 3.6 grade-point-average while majoring in Business Finance, while also starting every game for the 'Roos this past year and logging more than 1,300 minutes and 74 saves.

Lane, a sophomore goalkeeper from Frisco, was a first team All-District pick on the women's side, wrapping up her second season for the 'Roos with a 3.88 grade-point-average with a major in Biology. Lane had more than 1,000 minutes in goal for Austin College this season and led the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with 121 saves.

Davis a junior defender from Frisco, was another first team All-District selection after starting all 17 games for the 'Roos while boasting a 3.96 grade-point-average with majors in both Psychology and Business Administration.
