McCoy Named Modern Woodmen Student-Athlete of the Week

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College Athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's basketball player Natalie McCoy.

McCoy, a senior guard from San Antonio, was recently named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week after an outstanding pair of conference performances in which she averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 steals-per-game. McCoy also serves as the chair on the Austin College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee leadership group, and is the athletics department's female representative with the conference's SAAC, as well.

Modern Woodmen of America is proud to recognize and support the ongoing achievements of Austin College student-athletes. Their North Texas Region understands that the pursuit of excellence on and off the field creates a foundation for continued excellence after graduation.
