Eden Llamas, a senior from San Antonio, set a new personal best in the 6K at the East Texas Baptist University Tiger Invitational on Saturday. Llamas ran the event in a time of 23:44.37, good for 36 seconds better than her previous best at that distance. That time was also 1:42 faster than she ran at the same event last season.

Llamas was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for her effort, in which she helped the 'Roos place fourth overall out of nine teams.
