SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College women's water polo team is headed back to the Division III National Final Four this weekend, to be hosted by Ponoma-Pitzer in Claremont, Calif. The 'Roos take to the pool for the tournament's first semifinal on Saturday against the host team.

Austin College, which enters the championships as the No. 4-seed, will face off against the top-seeded Sagehens at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Saturday afternoon, before competing in either the championship or third place game on Sunday. The 'Roos are currently ranked No. 7 in Division III, and earned their spot in the tournament by virtue of finishing as the runner-up in the CWPA this season with an overall record of 8-11, but a mark of 8-3 against Division III opponents. Pomona-Pitzer is ranked No. 1 in Division III with an overall record of 23-10, and earned their bid and hosting duties by winning the SCIAC title.

Rounding out the field are No. 2-seed Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and No. 3-seeded Augustana, who also rank No. 2 and No. 6, respectively, in the latest national poll. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps was the runner-up in the SCIAC, while Augustana earned its spot and seed by beating the 'Roos in the CWPA Championship.
