SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College women's water polo team collected national academic honors this week, as 13 'Roos were named All-Academic by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.

The ACWPC has three tiers of recognition for its student-athletes, with those earning Outstanding honors achieving a grade-point-average between 3.71 and 4.0, those earning Superior recognition boasting a GPA between 3.41 and 3.7, and student-athletes with a GPA between 3.2 and 3.4 being named to the Excellent tier.

Among the 'Roos who earned Outstanding honors were Cory McGrath, Kate Askew, Katherine Cox, and Sammi Thiele, while Ashley Chand, Erin McCormack, and McKenna Malone earned Superior honors. Earning Excellent honors were Alyssa Ross, Emily Engberson, Kalissa Niles, Kylee Noble, Lauren Olivier, and Maddie Jacks.
