Three From Women's Water Polo Named All-America

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - Three members of the Austin College women's water polo team have earned All-America status, the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches has announced. Cory McGrath was a second team selection, while Alyssa Ross and Lauren Olivier each earned honorable mention accolades.

McGrath, a junior from Flower Mound, led the 'Roos this season with 30 goals on her way to earning second team All-America status. McGrath was named the CWPA Offensive Player of the Week once this season, in addition go earning All-CWPA recognition for her outstanding play this season.

Ross, a junior from San Jose, Calif., earned honorable mention All-America recognition after finishing third on the team with 24 goals for the nationally ranked 'Roos, helping Austin College reach the USA Water Polo Nationals for the second straight season. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at nationals and also earned All-CWPA status this season. 

Olivier, a senior from Indio, Calif., was second on the team with 26 goals and was also named the CWPA Defensive Player of the Week once this year on her way to being named an All-CWPA performer. Olivier had several big scoring games this season, including tallying twice in the CWPA title game.
