SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College women's water polo players Cory McGrath, Erin McCormack, and McKenna Malone have each been honored by the CWPA as this week's Offensive, Defensive, and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the organization has announced.

McGrath, a junior from Flower Mound, earned her offensive accolades after leading the 'Roos with seven goals in the team's first four games of the season, all coming against Division I competition at the Bruno Classic hosted by Brown University. McGrath also earned seven ejections for the weekend.

McCormack, a junior goalie from Orlando, Fla., had a strong weekend in the cage for the 'Roos with 19 blocks in just 10 quarters of action. That included a big performance against Bucknell, in which she came up with 10 blocks.

Malone, a freshman from Flower Mound, was recognized as the league's top newcomer after tallying the first goal of her collegiate career against Long Island University. She also led the 'Roos in both steals and field blocks-per-game for the weekend.
