Tseng, Manning, Graham Earn CSC Academic All-District

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College volleyball players Brianne Tseng, Madison Manning, and Samantha Graham have been selected as Academic All-District picks for their outstanding performances both athletically and academically.

The 2023 Academic All-District Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Tseng, a junior setter from Plano, earned her Academic All-District recognition for the second year in a row after posting a 3.74 grade-point-average with a major in kinesiology, while also leading the team in assists during the 2023 campaign.

Manning, a sophomore setter from Plano, finished just behind Tseng for the team lead in assists during the year as the 'Roos went 18-14, and she was named Academic All-District with a grade-point-average of 3.8 while majoring in physics engineering.

Graham, a sophomore right side hitter from Sherman, was among the 'Roo leaders in multiple categories, including kills and attack percentage. She earned Academic All-Distict thanks to a 4.0 grade-point-average with a major in Kinesiology. 

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Volleyball Academic All-America honorees will be announced January 9, 2024. 

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
