SEGUIN, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team dropped its final SCAC match of the weekend on Saturday, falling 3-1 against Southwestern University on the campus of Texas Lutheran. The 'Roos are now 12-6 overall on the year.

Southwestern took the first set 25-17 before Austin College bounced back with a tough 26-24 set two victory, but the Pirates took the next to sets 25-22, 25-20 to hand the 'Roos the defeat. Samantha Graham had 11 kills to lead the 'Roos, adding five digs, and Olivia Linton added nine kills. Victoria Smith chipped in seven kills and four total blocks, and Mattie Duncan led Austin College with five total blocks.

Laynie Kovacs had a team-best 22 digs for Austin College, while Madison Manning had 19 assists and 12 digs, TJ Folse added 11 digs, and Brianne Tseng finished with 13 assists. Linton also added nine digs to go along with her nine kills, and Alyssa Holloway added nine digs as well.
