SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team improved to 5-0 on the year, with their fourth three-set sweep of the season in a 3-0 win over visiting Sul Ross State University on Saturday afternoon in Hughey Gym.

Victoria Smith and Riley Abernethy each had eight kills to lead Austin College, as the 'Roos topped the Lobos by scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-21. Austin College continued its strong start with a .292 team hitting percentage, and added 14 service aces collectively. Mari Prazak had 17 digs and led the 'Roos with five aces, and Brooklyn Talley added four aces to go along with a match-best 15 assists. 

Olivia Linton chipped in six kills, and Brianna Barch had six kills and three total blocks. Barch also had a team-best .462 hitting percentage, with zero attacking errors in 13 attempts.
