SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting UT-Dallas on Sunday evening, as the undefeated Comets scored twice in the second half and added a third goal with just seconds remaining to bring the 'Roos to 1-2-1 overall on the year.

The Comets controlled the action for the majority of the game, owning a 23-2 shot advantage with five corners to zero for the 'Roos. Sierra Foster put UTD on the board early, scoring in the sixth minute of play, and the Comets would add another tally 14 minutes later off the foot of Kate Crowe to make it 2-0 heading into halftime. Austin College came out strong in the second half and kept the UTD offense at bay until the closing moments, when Crowe finished again, this time with just under 10 seconds remaining, to make it a 3-0 final.

Austin College got a big second half performance in goal from Amanda Zyla, seeing the first action of her collegiate career and making seven saves in 45 minutes as UTD out-shot the 'Roos 13-1 after the break. Kenedie Lane made two first half saves for the 'Roos, while UTD's Jade Press stopped the only shot she faced in the match.
