BELTON, Texas - The Austin College men's soccer team took an early lead on Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday evening, but the Crusaders tied things up before halftime and scored three goals after the break to down the 'Roos 4-1.

The game was scoreless until the 32nd minute of action, when Alejandro Beracochea tallied on an assist from Pierce Wear to put Austin College ahead 1-0. The Crusaders evened things up seven minutes later, and the score would remain even heading into the break. UMHB out-shot Austin College 10-3 in the opening half, and they'd use a 15-3 shot advantage in the second period to put the 'Roos away.

The Crusaders got the go-ahead goal from Alex Bethke in the 62nd minute, and they'd tally again in the 83rd minute to go on top 3-1. The home side would find the back of the net once more, this time in the 88th minute to make it a 4-1 final.
