COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Austin College men's soccer team saw its season come to a close in an overtime heartbreaker on Saturday, falling 2-1 at Colorado College in extra time. The 'Roos finish the season with a record of 1-6 overall.

The game was a defensive battle for most of the 90 minutes of regulation time, with Colorado College breaking through in the 30th minute on a goal from Sajjan Singh. The score remained 1-0 at half, as the Tigers out-shot Austin College 9-4 in the opening 45 minutes. It looked like the result would hold until late in the match, when Colin Saum tallied at the 88:20 mark to force overtime in his final game in a 'Roo uniform. However, it wouldn't take long for Colorado College to find the net and claim victory in the first overtime period, with Miles Montgomery scoring just 18 seconds in to get the golden goal.

The Tigers finished the game with a 23-to-7 shot advantage, and also owned a 12-to-1 edge in corner kicks. Connor Tullis had an outstanding game minding the net, finishing with 10 saves in the loss.
