The Austin College men's soccer team saw its three match win streak come to an end with a 1-0 loss on the road at Texas Lutheran on Friday evening. The 'Roos are now 4-2 overall and 1-1 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The 'Roos struggled to get much offensive going early, mustering just two shots in the first half. But a strong first half defensive performance kept things scoreless, as Joseph Khalaf turned away all three shots he faced in the first 45 minutes of action.

The second half seemed to be headed for the same result until the 68th minute, when TLU's Chase Silk scored an unassisted goal to make it 1-0. That's how things would finish, as Austin College was unable to find the equalizer in the game's final minutes.

The Bulldogs held a 17-10 shot advantage in the match, while Khalaf finished the game making seven saves in net for the 'Roos.
