SHERMAN, Texas - With inclement weather expected on Saturday, the Austin College baseball team's weekend Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference home series against Southwestern University has been moved from Friday and Saturday to Thursday and Friday at Baker Field.

Originally, the games were slated to be played at 7:00 p.m. for a single game on Friday, followed by a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. However, given Saturday's forecast that's currently calling for rain on and off throughout the day, given Austin College's grass playing surface, the decision was made to shift the series up a day in order to try to get all three games played. Game one of the series is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, with a twinbill now on the docket for 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
