HOW IT HAPPENED
Sherman, Texas.-The Eagles are off to the best start in school history after a 1-0 win against Austin College Saturday in Texas. The Eagles are now 5-1-0 overall after the non-conference win. The game was scoreless at the half even though the two teams combined for 14 shots. Eventually in the second half, the Eagles got the clutch game-winning goal from Savannah Solloway. Solloway's goal came in the 83rd minute. Melanie Glossup had a strong game in goal with seven saves. The Eagles owned a 5-1 corner kicks advantage, with all five coming in the second half. The Eagles totaled 15 shots in the game with Taliana Schmidt recording four of her own.
