SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's tennis player Emma Davidson.

Davidson, a freshman from Lake Dallas, had a strong weekend for Austin College as the 'Roos took on Schreiner and the University of the Ozarks. In the team's road match against Ozarks, Davidson was part of two of the team's four match victories, including pairing with Bailey Standokes for an 8-5 win on line one in doubles competition. Davidson completed her outstanding performance playing flight two singles, coming away with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 victory.
