SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's water polo Lauren Olivier.

Olivier, a senior from Indio, Calif., had a big weekend for Austin College as the 'Roos opened conference play with a trio of wins over Wittenberg, Macalester, and then-No. 5 Augustana. Olivier had a goal and a steal against Wittenberg and followed that up with two assists and three steals against Macalester, before leading the way for the 'Roos to knock off Augustana 8-5 with four goals and a steal. Following the big weekend for Olivier and the 'Roos, the team has now jumped to No. 6 in the latest Division III national poll. Olivier's big offensive performance comes just a week after earning CWPA Division III Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
