SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's water polo player Cory McGrath.

McGrath, a junior from Flower Mound, was named the CWPA Division III Offensive Player of the Year after an outstanding performance in the team's opening weekend of competition for 2023. McGrath and the 'Roos took on four Division I opponents at the Bruno Classic hosted by Brown University, and McGrath was a consistent scoring threat throughout the weekend. She finished with seven goals in those four games, while also earning seven ejections.
