'Roo Men Win, Women Run Well at UD Invitational

IRVING, Texas - The Austin College men's cross country team took first place at the University of Dallas Invitational and the women's team placed two runners in the top four finishers on Saturday morning. This is the second consecutive team win for the 'Roo men.

RJ Navarro took first in the men's race, coming in with a time of 16:35.1, while Johnny Biffar was second with a time of 17:17.8. Austin College also got fourth, fifth, and sixth place with Andrew Thomas, Chris Biffar, and Charlie McIntyre rounding out the top six. The average time for Austin College was 17:29, more than a minute and a half faster than the second place team.

On the men's side, Danielle Lozano finished third with a time of 22:16.4, and Madison Barnum was fourth with a time of 23:33.7. Tori Dodd came in 13th with a time of 30:08.2, and Becca Tobias was 15th with a time of 36:57.4.
