NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Austin College women's cross country team had a strong performance at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Championship, placing 24th out of 34 teams that competed.

Hannah Richards led the way for Austin College, breaking her own record in the 6K with a time of 22:58.5 to take 43rd place overall, and Eden Llamas came in 56th with a personal best time of 23:20. Alex Quinn had a time of 25:11.3 to place 143rd at the event, and Bailey Clark was 224th with a time of 29:35.4. Phung Banh rounded out the Austin College competitors with a 238th place finish and a time of 33:39.3 with 240 total runners participating in the meet.
