The Austin College women's cross country team finished in ninth place out of 11 teams at the Centenary College Invitational on Saturday morning in Shreveport. Several 'Roos had strong runs to help the team finish ahead of both Jarvis Christian and Louisiana State-Shreveport.

Zerlina Fung paced the 'Roos with a time of 30:04.0 on the 6K course, good for 29th place overall at the event. Sally Humphries finished with a time of 30:22.3, and Naina Singh crossed the finish line with a time of 30:40.4 as the 'Roos finished just behind host team Centenary at the event.
