SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team heads into the 2019 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament as the No. 5-seed this season after finishing with an overall record of 16-21 and a conference mark of 9-9, and the 'Roos will take on No. 4-seed Dallas on Friday afternoon to open postseason play.

The 'Roos and Crusaders will play the opening match of the tournament at 3:30 p.m. in Seguin, on the campus of host school Texas Lutheran. The University of Dallas enters the tournament with an overall record of 17-18 and a conference mark of 9-9, and became the No. 4-seed by virtue of owning the tiebreaker with the 'Roos this season. The Crusaders have topped Austin College twice this season, first by a score of 3-2 in Irving on September 17 and then again by a score of 3-1 in Sherman on October 29. The winner of tomorrow's match advances to the semifinals, where they will take on No. 1-seed Trinity at noon on Saturday.
