LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. –Austin College volleyball player Mari Prazak has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office has announced.

Prazak, a freshman libero from Fort Worth, had an outstanding weekend for Austin College, averaging 5.09 digs-per-set in three matches while recording at least 16 digs in each contest. Against McMurry, Prazak recorded a season-high of 23 digs, and also had seven service aces over the course of the Austin College Invitational. For the year, Prazak is currently third in the SCAC with an average of 4.6 digs-per-set.

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
