LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Austin College tennis players Melody Duong and Grace Ortiz have been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the league office has announced.

Duong, a freshman from League City, and Ortiz, a senior from Manchaca, continued their strong season at line one doubles for Austin College, going 3-1 for the week to lead the 'Roos to a 3-2 record. The duo earned wins over the top pair from #40 CalTech, Colby College, Concordia-Texas, and Mary Hardin-Baylor. Their only loss of the week came to the No. 1 team from #18 Trinity University.

For the season, Duong and Ortiz are 10-3 as a team, including a 6-2 record at No. 2 doubles.
