Frank Named Fourth Team All-America by D3Hoops

SHERMAN, Texas – The accolades continue to pour in for Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank, who Saturday was named Fourth Team All-America by D3Hoops.com. This is the second All-America award Frank has received this season, after being selected Honorable Mention All-America by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Frank, a junior from Granbury, finished among the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference leaders in virtually every statistical category, including leading the league in both rebounds and field goal percentage. Frank averaged 18.2 points (second in the SCAC) and 10.3 rebounds, while also finishing fifth in the league in assists-per-game and free throw percentage.

Frank was a four-time SCAC Player of the Week this year, as well as being named the National Player of the Week by the United States Basketball Writers Association in December after leading the 'Roos to an upset victory on the road at Washington University-St. Louis. Frank was a First Team All-SCAC performer as well as being named the league's Co-Player of the Year. She was also a First Team All-South Region selection by D3Hoops.com after leading the 'Roos to a 20-6 overall record and the team's second SCAC regular season championship in the last three years.

Frank has already surpassed 1,000 career points and 700 career rebounds, and heads into next season with a chance t become the first Austin College women's basketball player since Katy Williams to have more than 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career.

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Association.
