SHERMAN, Texas – A day after earning Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors, Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank has been named to the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week.
Frank, a junior from Granbury, is one of five players in all of Division III to earn this honor for last week's games, after leading Austin College to an upset victory on the road at No. 13-ranked Washington University. Frank scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the win, which also delivered to the 'Roos the 17th Annual McWilliams Classic Championship.
For the week, Frank averaged 21.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists-per-game as the 'Roos went 2-0 at the tournament in St. Louis.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
