COMMERCE, Texas - The Austin College distance track team saw several runners set new personal records as the 'Roos competed at the East Texas Invitational hosted by Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday.

Chris Biffar finished 23rd in the 1500-meter event, coming in with a new personal best time of 4:25.15, and Burhan Biviji came in with a time of 5:16.50. On the women's side, Hannah Richards finished 17th in the 1500-meter with a time of 5:08.44, while Bailey Clark came in 35th with a time of 5:49.05 and Danielle Lozano established a new personal record with a time of 6:02.25.

Alex Quinn had an outstanding finish in the 5000-meter race, placing fourth overall with a time of 20:07.04, while Eden Llamas finished strong as well with a seventh place finish and a time of 20:40.59.
