The Austin College women's swimming and diving team placed fourth and the men took fifth at the Austin College Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The women scored 230 points and the men tallied 297 as a team.

Lauren Wheeler and Dory Johnson each turned in strong performances for the women, with Wheeler taking second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.63 and winning the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:17.01, and both Wheeler and Johnson teamed with Maggie Autry to take fourth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:01.03.

On the men's side, Jacob Fenster took fifth in the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.72 and sixth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.16 to lead the way and Erik Gentzel had a strong time of 2:07.33 to place in the top 10 in the 200 backstroke.
