The Austin College men's cross country team finished in seventh place in the 2015 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Meet held in Sherman on Saturday morning.

The 'Roos got a strong showing from Jeff Kubena, who finished in 35th place for the best finish of the day for Austin College. Kubena made it through the 8K course at Stone Creek Country Club in a time of 34:59.2, while Jonathan Estrada was the team's next best finisher with a time of 36:42.8.

Jimmy Ding finished with a time of 37:42.9, good for third on the team, and Cody Meyers finished fourth for the 'Roos with a time of 38:22.4. Pedro Marquez rounded out the team's top five finishers with a time of 39:38.6 as the 'Roos finished with 205 points on the day.

Trinity swept the top five spots in the race to come away with just the second perfect score in SCAC men's cross country history en route to winning the championship.
