Men's Water Polo Finishes Season Ranked No. 10 in CWPA Poll

SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College men's water polo wrapped up the 2019 campaign on a high note, coming in tied for No. 10 nationally in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III poll after winning four of their last six games.

The 'Roos, in just their second season of competition as a varsity program, tied with Occidental in the final poll of 2019 and wrapped up the season with a record of 4-19. Austin College won four straight games against Division III opponents late in the season, picking up two wins over Penn State-Behrend as well as victories against Washington & Jefferson and Ottawa (Ariz.), with two of those victories coming at home on November 9.

Austin College finished out the season picking up their first ever win in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament against PSB on November 22 before falling to NCAA Division I opponent Cal-Berkeley, and then ending the year with a defeat at the hands of Penn State-Behrend.
