SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College men's water polo player Max Wade has been selected as an honorable mention All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation performer for the 2019 season, the league office has announced.

Wade, a freshman attacker from Flower Mound, had an historic season for the 'Roos as he established a new program record with 53 goals scored during the regular season. Wade was named the MPSF Newcomer of the Week three times, the most of any player in the conference through the course of the 2019 campaign. In the last weekend of the regular season, Wade led Austin College to a pair of victories over Ottawa (Ariz.) and Penn State-Behrend, tallying 10 goals in the two wins. Those two victories made it three straight wins for the 'Roos, who will take on Penn State-Behrend in the opening round of the MPSF Tournament this weekend.
