SHERMAN, Texas –Austin College men's water polo players Andrew Pope and Will Koelzer capped off the program's historic first season with yet more history, becoming the first 'Roos to be selected All-Americans by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.

Pope, a freshman from Flower Mound, was selected as an honorable mention Division III All-American after having also been picked as an All-MPSF performer. The first year attacker was also named Newcomer of the Week in the MPSF earlier this year, and led Austin College with 27 goals.

Koelzer, a freshman from Richmond, was also an honorable mention Division III All-America pick after an outstanding first year as a center defender. Koelzer scored the first goal in program history in the team's first game against Brown University, finishing with eight goals on the year as the team's top defender.
