'Roo Men's Water Polo Set for MPSF Tournament

SHERMAN, Texas - This weekend, the Austin College men's water polo continues to make history with the 'Roos headed to Los Angeles to compete in the program's first ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament, hosted on the campus of the University of Southern California.

The 'Roos, led by first year head coach Mark Lawrence, will take on fellow NCAA Division III program Penn State-Behrend in the tournament opener at 9:00 a.m. PST on Friday morning. After that, Austin College will take on either the University of California or UCLA. If the 'Roos beat PSB, they'll take on UCLA at 3:00 p.m., while a loss means facing Cal at 1:00 p.m.

All of this weekend's MPSF Tournament games will be broadcast, with the majority available for view on the MPSF website with a paid subscription. In addition, live stats will be provided for all matches this weekend. For 'Roo fans and alumni in Southern California who want to attend the tournament, a full session pass for the weekend can be purchased for $40. Information on all of the tournament action, including links to live video and stats, can be found on the official tournament website.
