SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College men's soccer player Joseph Khalaf has been selected by the United Soccer Coaches as an NCAA Division III Scholar All-West Region Team, the organization has announced.

Khalaf, a senior goalkeeper from Sherman, is one of five Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference players represented on the All-West Region Team, and one of just two goalies. A first team All-SCAC performer each of the last three seasons, Khalaf boasts a 3.81 grade-point-average, the second highest GPA among the 11 student-athletes on the All-West Region Team. Khalaf has a dual major in math and economics. 

Khalaf finished his Austin College career with 60 starts and 76 overall appearances, and had 15 shutouts over his four seasons. He also had 332 saves and a .794 save percentage, and this past year had a career-best 1.11 goals-against-average.
