Amber McNulty

Amber McNulty was named the head athletic trainer for Austin College in May 2023. Prior to her time in Sherman, she served as an assistant athletic trainer at Birmingham-Southern College.

McNulty is a 2019 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she earned her degree in Exercise Science before earning her master's degree in athletic training from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. McNulty completed a virtual internship with the Milwaukee Brewers, in addition to serving as a trainer for the Lakeshore Chinooks, a summer league baseball team based out of Mequon, Wisconsin. A native of Wisconsin, McNulty does bring experience in Texas, having worked at Texas State University in 2022.

While earning her master's degree, McNulty worked with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's women's basketball, women's soccer, and men's and women's track and field teams. She worked with a number of teams at Birmingham-Southern, including the school's baseball and football programs. While there, she worked as a primary athletic trainer working alongside Austin College football head coach Tony Joe White. Prior to her time at BSC and Texas State, she also worked as an athletic trainer at St. Norbert College, working mostly with the football and men's basketball programs. She's also worked at Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama during her time at BSC.
