It's a weekend on the road for 'Roo athletics, as each of Austin College winter sports teams are headed away from Sherman to compete against Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foes.

First up is a trip to Georgetown for the Austin College men's and women's basketball teams, with the women's team hitting the court at 5:30 p.m. to square off against Southwestern University looking to pick up their second win in a row. The 'Roo men follow against the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. as they try to make a move in the SCAC standings and earn a spot in the postseason conference tournament.

On Saturday, the hoops teams take the short trip from Georgetown to Seguin, where they'll face Texas Lutheran for another set of conference games. The Austin College women tip off at 4:00 p.m., with the 'Roo men taking to the hardwood at 6:00 p.m. that evening.

The Austin College men's and women's swim teams are also in action on Saturday, as the 'Roos head to Shreveport to face off against Centenary College. That meet begins at 1:00 p.m.
