SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College Athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo volleyball player Mari Prazak.

Prazak, a senior libero from Fort Worth, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensie Player of the Week after an outstanding week in which she averaged 5.42 digs-per-set. Prazak is now averaging 4.8 digs-per-set for the year, ranking her among the top performers in the conference. A member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Prazak is closing in on a major career milestone, with 1,867 career digs. So far this year, she has 240 digs through 14 matches played.
