As we prepare for an exciting weekend that includes home soccer games tonight and our football game on Saturday, we look forward to having you on campus. This weekend we will be celebrating the induction of former head football coach Mel Tjeerdsma to the National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame. Due to the heavy rain currently in the forecast, his induction presentation has been moved indoors and will be held in the Mason Complex in the Slats McCord Honors Room at 12:20 p.m.

I also want to take this opportunity to make you aware that the mezzanine level of the press box at Jerry Apple Stadium will now be reserved for Austin College events. Beginning tomorrow, the entire press box will be used for Austin College programming and events. I ask you to visit our Game Day page, and how it relates to the press box and other venues. Those with ADA issues can find accommodations and a ramp for entry at the north end of the stands.

We are expecting rain tomorrow, so please plan on bringing your umbrellas and rain gear to keep you dry as you cheer on the 'Roos!
