KERRVILLE, Texas - The Austin College women's cross country team placed sixth at the 2018 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Meet, led by a 17th place finish from Hannah Richards.
Richards paced the 'Roos with a time of 24:37.5 in the 6K race, and Danielle Lozano set a new personal record with a time of 26:24.6. That was good for a 23rd place finish. Also performing well was Hannah Fraga, who came in 32nd with a personal best time of 27:44.7. Jessica Hoffman was 39th in the event, crossing the finish line with a time of 31:05.8, and Abigail Morgan rounded out the top five finishers with a time of 32:22.1, good for 42nd place. Hoffman and Morgan's times were also personal records.
The 'Roos placed sixth out of seven competing teams, coming in ahead of host school Schreiner University and just behind Southwestern University.
