Women's Cross Country School Records Fall At OLLU Invite

WINDCREST, Tex. - The Women's Cross Country Team of Austin College competed at Windcrest Golf Club in the Our Lady of the Lake University Invitational, and Personal Records fell across the board.

Hannah Richards ran her first ever 5-Kilometer race, breaking the school record by 32 seconds, while Eden Llamas recorded the second fastest time in school history with a 19-second "PR" of her own.

Alex Quinn bested her personal 5K record by a whopping 45 seconds, placing her 4th on the Austin College record books, and Bailey Clark raced in her first ever collegiate 5K with a time of 25:51.5.

Richards placed 20th overall in the event, while Llamas was close behind in 25th.

Women's Cross-Country returns to Sherman for the remainder of the month of September to train for their next event in Marshall, TX.  The East Texas Baptist Meet is scheduled for October 7th.
