Women's Cross Country Places 5th at SCAC Championship

The Austin College women's cross country team finished 5th at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship in Boerne on Saturday, the highest finish in the three years the team has competed at the event.

The 'Roos edged out Southwestern, Schreiner, and Centenary to finish in the top five teams, with Eden Llamas pacing the 'Roos with a time of 26:13, good for 21st place overall. Sally Kate Humphries came in 24th, finishing with a time of 26:36, and Alex Quinn and Hailee Meiners placed 28th and 29th, respectively, with times of 27:25 and 27:27. 

Amanda Goodson came in 33rd with a time of 28:15, Zerlina Fung's time of 28:29 was good for 35th, and Alex Lux rounded out the 'Roo runners with a time of 31:44 for a 44th place finish.
