Southeastern Oklahoma Tops 'Roo Volleyball

DURANT, Okla. - The Austin College volleyball team put up a good fight against NCAA Division II opponent Southeastern Oklahoma, but the 'Roos came up short in a 3-1 defeat on the road on Saturday afternoon. The 'Roos are now 6-6 overall on the season.

After Southeastern took the first set 25-22, the 'Roos surged back to claim a 25-17 victory to even things up. However, Southeastern took sets two and three by scores of 25-17 and 25-19 to clinch things and hand the 'Roos the road loss. Jazmyn Kizziar led Austin College with 10 kills, and Olivia Linton added seven. Chloe Miller had a team-best 15 digs, while Riley Abernethy added nine to go along with four kills. 

Madison Manning paced the 'Roos with 16 assists while adding six digs, and Brianne Tseng had 14 assists and nine digs.
