Volleyball Finishes 6th at SCAC Tournament

IRVING, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team's season came to a close on Saturday evening, as the 'Roos fell 3-0 to Centenary to finish in sixth place at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The 'Roos end the year with a record of 16-18.

Centenary handed the 'Roos losses of 25-23, 25-22, 25-18, as Austin College had a team hitting percentage of .145, compared to .208 for the Ladies. Karson Dykes had a team-best eight kills for Austin College, while Shelbi Cook added six and Mayson Kennon, Kristen Massey, and Hannah Arbaugh each had five. Brooklyn Talley had 20 assists for Austin College, and Sam Fawcett added 13. Mari Prazak led the 'Roos with 18 digs, and Arbaugh and Kennon had 11 and 10 digs, respectively. Massey led the 'Roos with four total blocks in the loss.
