SHREVEPORT, La. - The Austin College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Belhaven on Friday night in the team's opening match at the Centenary College Halloween Tournament. The 'Roos improve to 23-11 overall this season with the victory.
Austin College hit .346 as a team and won by scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-12. The 'Roos had just six attacking errors in the match, and got nine kills apiece from Dani DeWitt and Brooke Harris. Katie Ingle had 24 assists and seven digs, while also adding five kills of her own. Rebekah Bowden had five block assists in the victory, and Tatiana Ferrari led the 'Roos with 16 digs.
