'Roos Cruise Past Arlington Baptist on Senior Night

SHERMAN, Texas – The Austin College volleyball cruised to a three set victory over visiting Arlington Baptist as the 'Roos celebrated Senior Night in the team's final home match of the year. Austin College improves to 17-11 overall with the non-conference victory.

The 'Roos took the match by set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-16, with seniors Presleigh Watson and Madison Lee leading the way in their final match in Hughey Gym. Watson had 12 kills and boasted a .429 hitting percentage in the match, and totaled nine blocks in the victory. Lee added eight kills, seven digs, and four block assists in the victory.

Katie Ingle had a strong all-around match, getting a match-best 31 assists to go along with five kills and a .625 hitting percentage, as well as four digs and three block assists. Kristen Massey added six kills, while Madi McVay paced Austin College with 17 digs in the victory. McVay also had five service aces in the match.

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
